Service Description

A qualified and trained Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and directly oversees your child's individualized program. They customize the ABA program to your child's skills, needs, interests, preferences and family situation then write specific treatment goals that may also include family goals and preferences. Goals can include many different skill areas, such as: Communication and language Social skills Self-care (such as showering and toileting) Play and leisure Motor skills Learning and academic skill The BCBA and therapists measure progress by collecting data in each therapy session. Data helps them to monitor your child’s progress toward goals on an ongoing basis. Meetings with family members, program staff, speech, and occupational therapists to review information about progress take place regularly. They are then able to plan ahead and adjust teaching plans and goals as needed.
